what we say and what we believe. Join us as we take a look at some
of the most common issues that we face in our friendships. . .
.loneliness, peer pressure, comparisons & identity. This class
will start Wednesday, November 12th from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. All
youth grades 6 thru 12 are encouraged to come and bring some friends!

DUCTAPE COMEDY
Ductape Comedy comes to Oakland UMC on
Saturday, December 6th. The youth will be enjoying pizza at 6:30
and the show starts at 7:30 pm. Price is $5 per person or $10 per
family in advance. At the door it is $7 per person or $12 per
family. Tickets go on sale Sunday, October 12th! You can

Youth Praise Band
This band provides a relevant means for
youth to experience and help lead worship to the congregation at OUMC.
The Youth Praise Band performs once a month at the 11:00 am Contemporary
Worship Service and is led by Matt Price. The Band provides a
strong foundation for youth to lead worship through the art of music.
The band is comprised of a wide variety of instruments and vocals. If
you are interested in being considered for the Praise Band Team, please

Youth Sunday School Class
Currently Jr. High & Sr. High Youth meet together in the Youth Upper
Room, up the stairway behind the front of the Sanctuary. Bridget
Williamson is the teacher. Come and bring some friends!
