30 Hour Famine @ Camp Harmony
The OUMC Youth will be going to a 30 Hour Famine @ Camp Harmony on
March 12-13th. Did you know that "each day, over 25,000 children
under the age of 5 die from preventable diseases such as malnutrition,
malaria, diarrhea, and acute respiratory infections. Malnutrition
is associated with over half of hose deaths." Well, emerge is
going to do something about it by spending thirty hours raising money
for hungry people of the world by fasting, praying and hearing about
God's desire to help those in need. The 30 Hour Famine is an
international youth movement to fight hunger through World Vision.

Amplified
The OUMC Youth Band will be
playing at Amplified, a worship night at Camp Harmony on March 13th.
This show will National Touring Artist "Eleventy Seven", Pittsburgh
based, "Echoes & angels" and "Noel McLeary" and our youth band - OUMC
Emerge. There will also be a guest speaker, Timotheus Pope.
The cost is $5.00. Time iis 5:00 to 9:00 pm.

Tobymac & Skillet will be coming to the Johnstown War Memorial Arena
on Saturday March 20th at
7 pm with their Awake Tonight Tour! OUMC is planning on taking a

Living Last Supper (Holy Thursday Service)
On Thursday, April 1 at 7:00 p.m., we will
celebrate Holy Thursday, called Maundy Thursday by some, by receiving
Holy Communion. One of Christianity's most significant events was
brilliantly portrayed by Leonardo Da Vinci centuries ago: The Last
Supper. This Renaissance masterpiece is brought to life in Ruth Elaine
Schram's remarkable work, "The Living Last Supper." One by one you will
hear the disciples speak, expressing their innermost thoughts that
portray their incredible astonishment at Jesus' assertion that one of
them would betray Him that fateful night. The evening will reawaken a
spiritual reconnection with the true significance of The Last Supper.
This will be presented by the Chancel Choir and Drama team. See you on

Easter Sunday at OUMC
Easter Sunday at OUMC is a special time to celebrate that Jesus is
risen! Alleluia! Services on April 4th at 8:30 a.m. and
11:00 a.m. will feature the OUMC Chancel Choir, praise band, drama,
children and a special message to celebrate this very special day!
Everyone is welcome. . come and be a part of this special celebration of
Easter.

Dave & Busters!!!
emerge is taking a road trip to Dave & Busters on April 5th (the Monday
of Easter break) to hang out and play some video games, do a little team
building and eat some food. So plan on attending so your parents

Bring Your Parents to
Youth Night
In honor of the parents of the students of emerge & celebration of
Mother's day and Father's Day, emerge is having it's first ever "Bring
Your Parents to Youth Night" on May 19th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. It
will be a night of family values with some music, games, a short talk
and plenty of food. So parents, please plan on attending and find
out what youth nights are like, with yourselves as the guests of honor.

Join the S.A.L.T. Team
Any students interested in joining the S. A. L. T. Team which is
emerge's Student Action Leadership Team to go deeper in your walk with

monthly Bible Study, service opportunities and the chance to help shape

Youth Praise Band
This band provides a relevant means for
youth to experience and help lead worship to the congregation at OUMC.
The Youth Praise Band performs once a month at the 11:00 am Contemporary
Worship Service and is led by Matt Price. The Band provides a
strong foundation for youth to lead worship through the art of music.
The band is comprised of a wide variety of instruments and vocals. If
