New
Appointments
We write to you from
the Missionaries in Residence office, 475 Riverside Drive, New York. We
have recently returned from 11 years in Central Asia and, hoping for a
year or two of study and “home”, we have been graciously appointed to
this position. Kristin and Dave Markay who have run the office for the
last two years have moved with their children Hannah and Aidan, to Milan
in Italy to pastor the international Methodist community there. Do pray
for them as they face a new life once again.
What We Do
Bruce is a pastor,
elementary school teacher, adult English teacher and has experience in
management and administration. He is from rural Western Pennsylvania.
Kathy is a nurse, midwife and community health nurse trained in Zimbabwe
and South Africa. She’s used to being with groups of women and teams of
workers sitting on the floor, working out health, development and
literacy issues! So what are we going to do here?

Residence, we will serve as bridges between the New York Office and the
retired and active missionary community. We hope to
The Purpose and Partnership
The purpose of these
activities is connection and understanding so that we can live, work and
be a part of the building the Kingdom of God. Please contact us if you
have spiritual or practical insights to offer, ideas for growth,
questions, changes of address etc. We need each other to do this well.
